Buy Xbox One and Get a Free Game of Your Choice, Microsoft

By   /   Sep 4, 2014

The difference of sales between Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4 is pretty big and Microsoft knows it which is why they keep on trying to bridge it. Perhaps this is why they are offering a free game upon the purchase of a new console.

Customers who purchase the console between 7th and 13th September from selected few US retailers will get a free copy of any Xbox One game of their own choosing as long as the game is valued at $59.99 or below.

The offer is valid for any retail Xbox One game, and the offer is good for our Xbox One system bundles, too – so if you want to pick up the Xbox One Madden NFL 15 Bundle or Forza Motorsport 5 Bundle, you’re getting another free game of your choice priced at $59.99 or lower on top of it!” Microsoft said in the announcement.

Coincidently this offer is also colliding with the release date of Destiny, which although will be available for P3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One but is clearly favoring PS4 as its main title with all the exclusive DLCs and a white PS4 Destiny Bundle.

There is still no word from Microsoft as to which retailers are participating in this offer but the list can be expected closer to the launch date of the deal.
