Xbox One Edition of Minecraft is Finally Coming Out This Friday

Xbox One fans are going to be pretty excited to know that Minecraft will finally be available for download this Friday September 5th on Xbox Store.

If you already own the Xbox 360 version of the game and want to upgrade to the Xbox Edition? You will be getting a hefty discount and can download the game for just $4.99. Players who are new to the game can get the game for the price of $19.99 from the Xbox Store.

*To qualify for the $4.99 USD upgrade offer, players must own the retail disc or digital version of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and connect to Xbox Live with their account.

Minecraft players will be able to create worlds 36 times bigger than the Xbox 360 version to the title and the game will support a native 1080p resolution at 60 FPS . You will also be able to transfer all of your worlds and content from Xbox 360 to Xbox One Edition of Minecraft.  

Furthermore, the new edition will also support 4 players split screen local multiplayer along with 8 players online multiplayer.

If you are looking to pick a retail disk version to the game, you will have to wait until this holiday season as the game is only available on Xbox Store for download and select retailers will start selling digital download code for Minecraft later this month.
