WWE 2K15 Goes Behind the Scenes With New Trailer

By   /   Sep 2, 2014

A new trailer for WWE 2K15 takes us behind the scenes of the game’s development and gives us an insight into how the developers achieved the impressive in-game real-life resemblances of the wrestling superstars.

The video runs for more than three minutes and shows how the actual wrestlers were brought in to get themselves and their expressions recorded. For the game’s commentary, favorite WWE commentators like Jerry Lawler and others were brought in.

In related news, the game’s Hulkamania edition is reported to be all sold out. The collector’s edition which was announced several weeks ago is now pretty hard to find, with many major retailers running empty on stock.

While some retailers have promised to inform consumers as soon as the item becomes available, there’s no official announcement from 2K sports as to when they will be made available.

Only 25,000 editions will be made available in total around the world. It includes a copy of WWE 2K15, premium packaging, collectable art card hand-signed by Hulk Hogan, exclusive Funko “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan vinyl figure, an actual piece of the ring canvas from Hogan’s appearance on WWE Raw on March 10, 2014, two playable pre-order launch exclusive Hulk Hogan characters, and two playable pre-order launch exclusive Sting characters. It comes with a retail price of $99.99 in North America.

WWE 2K15 is set to release on October 28 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
