The Last of Us Remastered Sales Cross One Million Units
The Last of Us Remastered was released back on July 30, 2014 and now it has been a month since that day. In just 30 days, the game has managed to pull off more than 1 million units sales – Sony has confirmed in a press conference.
The same event in which Resident Evil Revelations 2 was confirmed, also announced that the sales figure of The Last of Us Remastered had crossed one million units. The event actually was a pre Tokyo Game Show press conference by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia that was held recently.
Shuhei Yoshida, the president of Sony Worldwide Studios took to the floor to announce the accomplishments of certain titles of the company as well as to announce some of the digital titles for PlayStation 4.
Starting off with announcing that the total sales of PlayStation 4 had reached 10 million since launch he went on to announce that The Last of Us Remastered had crossed the 1 million units sales mark along with Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack and Infamous Second Son.
That being said, he went on to announce the digital titles. If you are interested in finding out all that he had to announce, you may visit this Ustream link and go to the 33:49 marker too listen to an English translation of Yoshida’s speech directly.
