NBA Live 15’s First Trailer Focuses on Improved Visuals
EA has today released the first trailer for NBA Live 15 which focuses on the game’s visual improvements over last year’s iteration.
It’s highly late of EA to be showing off the game now, considering that it releases in just over a month from now. That said, NBA Live 15 does indeed look pretty slick with highly accurate faces for NBA stars and amazing attention to detail in the lighting, animations, physics and environment departments.
Similar to EA Sports’ other ’15 sports installments, NBA Live 15 too features a sweating system that starts glistening on the bodies once a match has begun.
Animations are even more smoother and quicker now. Players jumping for the hoops will no longer see to jittery animations and instead will be treated to improved physics for the game’s new collisions system.
100+ new animations make it possible for something unpredictable and amazing to happen on every play. Scoring has been amped up with 3x the variety of dunks, layups and signature shots as you impose your will on your opponent with physicality you can feel.
The teammate AI system has also been revamped to have them adjust according to situation, as are the controls which are said to be now more responsive and productive.
EA has also confirmed the addition of Live ultimate team mode for players to build their dream team out of current past basketball stars. The presence of a new auction house will “add even more opportunities to assemble the fantasy team you’ve always wanted.”
NBA Live 15 is set for release on October 7 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
