Hyrule Warriors Also Getting NES Sword DLC in Europe

European fans of Hyrule Warriors must be pretty excited by now as the official Nintendo twitter account for EU has confirmed something really special in the form of NES Sword DLC.

While the game is due out later this month for the EU region, it seems like Nintendo is planning ahead of time with this one and getting the game hyped further.


The NES Sword DLC includes ability for players to change the background music, adds a new challenge mode, and the most exciting of all it adds the sword and shield from the original Legend of Zelda for the NES.

In addition to these exciting feature, the update will include some usual bugs fixes and tweaks like a bug that reduces your max strength if you’re defeated in battle has been fixed, along with a bug that where sound was not output from the TV when starting up the game after playing only on the GamePad.

The game is due out this September 18 in Europe for Nintendo Wii U. Share your thoughts and we views in the comments below!
