Assassin’s Creed: Rogue – New Screenshots Head to the Sea
Ubisoft has released three new screenshots for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, the previously announced installment that is being targeted for the last-generation consoles.
The game’s lead character this time around is Shay Patrick Cormac, a Templar that is tasked with hunting down Assassins. In the storyline, he’s betrayed by the Assassin brotherhood after a mission goes wrong. Seeing that he has his own ship called the Morrigan, Cormac will be sailing around the Northern Atlantic Ocean to boost his team and take his revenge on those who left him to die.
I’m considering it as a spiritual successor to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, given that Ubisoft has hinted that Cormac’s story will somehow tie in with the Kenway family saga that began in Assassin’s Creed 3 and then continued in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
The collector’s edition of the game comes with a retail price of $69.99. It comes with a special collector’s box, three lithographs alongside the games official soundtrack and of course the physical copy of the game itself.
Additionally it also comes bundled with two single-player bonus missions: The Siege Of The Fort de Sable Mission – Continue the battle at sea with this bonus fort raiding mission set in the unexplored northern territory of the New World and The Armor Of Sir Gunn’s Quest – Explore North America to find the remains of Scottish explorer and Templar Sir James Gunn and solve the mystery of the man who may have been the first discoverer of the New World.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will release on November 11 for the PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, alongside Assassin’s Creed: Unity which was pushed back by a couple of weeks.
