Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath First Trailer Shows Young Kazuma Kiryu In Action

By   /   Sep 1, 2014

The upcoming entry in the famous series Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath has received its first trailer, which showcases 20 year old Kazuma Kiryu taking out someone in an alleyway.

This new first look trailer was shown to the audience at Sony Pre Tokyo Games Show conference, and developers promises that there will be over 15 minutes of gameplay footage from upcoming title at TGS, which is scheduled to take place on 19th of September.

Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath takes place in 1988, where you will be put in the shoes of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, as the story focuses on their past.

The game is scheduled to launch in Japan in spring of 2015, however, there is still no confirmation whether the fans outside of Japan will be able to enjoy the game or not.

Yakuza: Dead Souls was the last entry to be released outside of Japan. After that, Yakuza 5 and Yakuza Ishin have been released in Japan but none of them made their way to the other regions.

Hopefully, Sega will clarify the game’s western release at Tokyo Games Show but as for now, take a look at a very young looking Kazuma Kiryu in the trailer attached above.
