Resident Evil HD Remaster Gets a New Trailer, Looking Good

By   /   Sep 1, 2014

Long term fans of the Resident Evil franchise and especially those of the original game have been really excited ever since a HD Remaster for the game was announced.

To peak up their excitement and to give a teaser for the amazing HD scare that awaits them, the official Resident Evil YouTube channel posted a new video today.

The video was originally shown live in Tokyo today after which the YouTube channel uploaded it for online viewers. The 1 minute 40s video is actually a trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil HD Remaster releasing for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime in early 2015.

The game puts players in the shoes of 2 members, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield of an elite task force named S.T.A.R.S. Created by the horror genius Shinji Mikami, the game has players investigating the disappearance of fellow team members when they get trapped in an abandoned mansion infested with zombies.

This isn’t the first time Resident Evil has been re-released since its original release back in 1996. Capcom created a remake for the back in 2002 for Gamecube and then in 2009 for Wii, adding some extra functionalities. It is this remake which is now getting the HD remaster treatment like so many other titles these days.
