Silent Hills P.T. Teaser Has Been Downloaded Over 1 Million Times

By   /   Sep 1, 2014

Sony has revealed that its horror teaser Silent Hills P.T. has been downloaded more than 1 million times since its reveal at Gamescom early August.

The teaser was free to download, which is why a large number of PS4 community attempted it and some of them even claimed that this is the scariest game they have ever played in their life.

Silent Hills P.T. is a reboot of the famous Silent Hill franchise and the people behind this game Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro are trying to bring life to the horror genre.

The FOX engine has been used to create this game, which is the same engine that powered Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and is also going to support Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The full version of the game is expected to launch sometime next year and it will star the popular actor from The Walking Dead TV show Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon).

With over 1 million downloads already, you can expect the game to be a big deal when the players finally get their hands on the full version.

Have you tried out the teaser for Silent Hills P.T.? Do you think this is the game that is going to redefine the horror genre?
