Persona 5 is no Longer a PS3-Exclusive, Coming to PS4 in 2015

By   /   Sep 1, 2014

Persona 5 is no longer a Playstation 3 exclusive and is coming to PS3 and PS4, Atlus announced at SCE’s Pre-Tokyo Game Show Press Conference, today.

The game was originally announced exclusively for Playstation 3 back in November last year followed by a Western release date, earlier this year.

While the original announcement was solely made for PS3, we reported the possibility of PS4 version which has at last turned out to be true.

An interesting thing to note here is that the PS3 version was originally slated to launch sometime in winter 2014 in Japanese market, but now both versions will release sometime in 2015. And while Atlus has already confirmed PS3 version for the Western market, it remains to be seen whether the PS4 will also end up here or not.

Persona 5 is the second title to be released for PS3 (first on the PS4) and acts as a direct sequel to Persona 4 which was released back in 2008 for PS2.
