Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Releases in 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One

By   /   Aug 31, 2014

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in spring 2015, Team Ninja has announced.

Apparently the developer feels that the fighting game franchise still has a lot of steam left in it and demands another re-release. A short trailer accompanying the announcement reveals that the game will release next year in Japan. However, it’s unknown when the title will make its way to the western shores.

The tagline “Last Round” could suggest that this will be last time Team Ninja re-releases the game. That means the next Dead or Alive title will be a new installment, that is unless they are done with the series.

While 2014 has been the year to see many games being delayed, it has also seen its fair share of re-releases.

Just a couple of days ago Volition Games announced at PAX Prime that Saints Row IV would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well. It would be better if we were to see new titles land on the new consoles, rather than assemble titles we’ve already played on the previous-gen machines.
