Gunsport Asks You To Play Volleyball Using Guns

By   /   Aug 29, 2014

Gunsport is a collaborative work of Necrosoft Games and Iron Galaxy Studios and has been announced for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The online multiplayer title carries a unique set up where in an alternate future timeline, humans have grown tired of wars. Disputes between nations are now settled with the World’s Game, Gunsport.

The game is pretty much a volleyball match but instead of using hands or feet, players use guns to propel a ball into the opponent’s territory.

“Gunsport is all about keeping the ball in the air and getting it into a goal at a choice moment,” reads the announcement posted on the game’s official website.

“The more times the ball passes the net (during a volley, as it were) the more points it’s worth, and the more dangerous it becomes to miss a shot. And your shots are limited, so you have to aim carefully, time your shots with care, and communicate with your teammate.”

Gunsport supports one-on-one and two-on-two online multiplayer and has been designed with competition in mind. You can head over to the official website which teases the oncoming of a trailer very soon.

Gunsport is planned for release in the first quarter of 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and will be playable at Rooster Teeth Expo in Austin, TX, and EVO in Las Vegas, NV.
