The Resident Evil Remake is going to be released sometime next year and to show the people how much the game has improved since the release of the original, developers have posted some new screenshots showcasing the before (Wii 2009) and after (upcoming) visuals of the game.

Check them all out in the gallery below:

As you can see from images, the graphics have come a long way and everything ranging from characters to environments is looking quite detailed.

Released back in 1996, Resident Evil was an unforgettable experience and due to this reason it was remade for GameCube in 2002 and after that it was released for Nintendo Wii in 2009.

The story follows two famous characters of the series Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, who are members of an elite task force which is also known as S.T.A.R.S. as they investigate the Racoon City for their missing team members.

However, things do not go as planned and soon the players become entrapped in the mansion that is filled with the undead.

Throughout the game, you explore multiple levels in the mansion as you come across more difficult enemies, solve puzzles and try to find clues of what exactly is going on there.

Resident Evil Remake is going to release for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC as a downloadable title sometime next year.
