Games With Gold For September Features Super Time Force, Halo: Reach and More
Microsoft has announced the free games that will be available in September as part of the company’s Games With Gold program for Xbox Live Gold members.
Starting September 1, Xbox One will receive Super Time Force, a 2D action platforming time-based shooter that was released in May and got a warm reception. Just this week the game’s enhanced Ultra edition was released on PC via Steam and come next week, Xbox One users will be able to enjoy the game for free.
The second free title for Microsoft’s new console is Crimson Dragon, which was already part of Games With Gold for the month of August.
You will be able to download Super Time Force from Monday, September 1 to the end of the month. As for Crimson Dragon, you can download it right now for free.
Moving on to the Xbox 360, the last-gen console will receive Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine, a heist game that was originally released last year on XBLA. You’ll have until September 16 to download this game, after which it will be replaced by Bungie’s Halo: Reach which will continue to be free through to the end of the month.
The Games With Gold’s offerings of August will expire on Sunday and so Xbox owners have until then to download Strike Suit Zero on Xbox One and Dishonored on Xbox 360. It goes without saying how awesome is it for Microsoft to provide the acclaimed Dishonored as a free title.
