Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Shadow of Beast Discussed by Sony
You, like most of us, might have noticed the absence of two upcoming titles for PlayStation 4 at this year’s Gamescom. Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End and Shadow of Beast were expected to make an appearance at Gamescom 2014 but for unknown reasons both the games were missing.
This led to fears and rumors regarding the state of the games’ development as well as their future. Sony is in for reassuring.
Jim Ryan, the president and chief executive officer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe was talking to Metro recently when he, thankfully, passed a few comments about both the titles in order to remove the doubts.
You might remember that Shadow of Beast was originally announced in 2013 and ever since then, news has been scarce on that front. People were even wondering if the title had been canned. However, that is not the case as Ryan said ‘it’s still coming.’
While that is not as detailed a response as I would I liked, it is still something.
Moving on, the second thing that people had doubts about was the Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End and its state of development, as it was not even talked about at the event. However, Ryan made sure to clarify that everything was okay with the development of the game. It was only that ‘creating something for a show takes a lot of resources, and we put a lot of resource into E3.’
Well, I am glad that it had nothing to do with a hurdle in the way of the game’s development but surely we would have loved it if you put in a little extra effort for us.
Anyhow, not comparing Shadow of Beast and Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End but tell me which one are you going to buy first?
