Keifer Sutherland is Not Involved With Mortal Kombat X , Says Ed Boon

NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon has stated that actor Keifer Sutherland will not be making any appearance in Mortal Kombat X.

Earlier this year in February, Sutherland stated in an interview that he was involved in the Mortal Kombat series and that he had a role in it. He said this while talking about his work with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

“I did Mortal Kombat, and that’s such a huge game, but it’s so not like [MGS5].” he said back then and went on to say his time with Mortal Kombat was much quicker than Metal Gear Solid V, but never mentioned a role or anything.

Ed Boon has denied his involvement with Mortal Kombat X. “He’s not in MKX,” the developer replied to a fan who asked if he could get some information about Kiefer Sutherland’s role in the game.

Boon’s comment raises a lot of questions. He is known for trolling on his Twitter account but then Sutherland could also had been making up his involvement with the game. That said, what are the chances there’s another Mortal Kombat title in the works or if Sutherland was working with a guest character for Mortal Kombat X which since then has been dropped from the roster.
