Assassin’s Creed Unity Voice Actor for Arno Discusses the Character

We are exactly two months away from the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and I am sure you would want to know more about it. Well, as it happens, we have a bit of a treat for you; let’s listen about Arno and Assassin’s Creed Unity in the voice of Arno.

The voice actor behind the protagonist, Dan Jeannotte was interviewed recently by UbiBlog where he discussed who the character really is, what it means to him and what made him take up the role:

“He is kind of selfish, kind of a brat. But then there are these tragic incidents that force him to action and he has to man up; he has to fight. At the beginning he is not an assassin but then he comes into the assassin’s brotherhood as a means to an end. It’s going to help him achieve what he wants selfishly. But then being part of the brotherhood he realizes that he is part of something much bigger.”

That is not all; your protagonist is clever and witty. Every now and then you will hear him combine a badass move with a classy one liner to bring a taste of his personality into the game.

As far as Dan Jeannotte is concerned, his first motivation behind taking up, the role was the kind of badass Arno is.

However, he did emphasize the dedication to the script on part of the writer as well as Ubisoft. This further strengthens our hopes for a great story, ‘it’s not simple; it’s not black and white,’ he said.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is slated for a release on October 28, 2014 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
