The Evil Within Voiceover Cast Revealed by Bethesda

Bathesda has revealed the voice actors for the upcoming survival horror Evil Within.

The game will include Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley who is known for playing Freddy in the recent remake of Nightmare on Elm Street and Jennifer Carpenter, who you may remember from her role of Debra Morgan in Dexter.

Juli Kidman the character voiced by jennifer Carpenter will also be a part of a post-launch DLC in addition to the base game.

The role of lead antagonist “Ruvik” will be played by Haley in his video game debut. Anson Mount will voice the lead protagonist Sebastian Castellanos who is a veteran police detective out investigating a gruesome mass murder.

While investigating, the detective encounters a mysterious and powerful force. After seeing the slaughter of his fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. He wakes up and finds himself in a deranged world filled with hideous monsters.

“One of the most crucial elements to any successful survival horror game is the setting and sound, which includes the depth and authenticity of the voice acting,” stated lead designer and studio head Shinji Mikami. “We brought together a great cast of experienced actors to help ensure that players really believe our characters’ emotions and the tension they feel in every
scene.”

The Evil Within will be released on October 14, 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows platforms.
