Love Super Smash Bros Soundtracks? You Can Listen to Them in Sleep Mode
Masahiro Sakurai revealed on Miiverse an impressive feature coming to Super Smash Bros.
The 3DS version of the game is getting a music player which will let you play your favorite soundtracks while in the sleep mode.
“Pic of the day. The 3DS version has an excellent Sounds collection! The design looks nice for a sound test screen, doesn’t it? The font color for the “Remix” text on remixed songs comes in pink or white. The pink ones are songs arranged for this version of Super Smash Bros., while the white ones are remixes made in earlier Smash Bros. games. This means there are recurring songs from past releases.”
“Play in The Sleep Mode” will allow player to listen to soundtracks and character voices when the 3DS is closed and using “L” and “R” buttons, you can navigate the tracks. So your 3DS will become a Walk-man allowing you to listen to the tracks on the go.
As you can see in the image above, tracks shown with a pink “remix” label are freshly composed for this version of Super Smash Bros.
This is a really cool feature and music lovers will really enjoy the inclusion. Fans should take note, that Super Smash Bros. will be available on October 3, 2014 for 3DS and the Wii U version will also hit retailers sometime this winter.
While the full list of songs will be unlocked with the launch of the game, you can still check out a sample playlist here.
