Assassin’s Creed: Unity Tester Leaks All Playable Assassins, Talks About Side Missions and Parkour
A verified tester of Assassin’s Creed: Unity has posted a screenshot on Reddit which showcases the other playable assassins in the game.
The image itself is a screenshot of the game’s Level Selection Screen and hence informs us that each level in Assassin’s Creed: Unity will take place in an entirely different location and will feature its own assassin.
According to the tester, players will be able to play co-op in all the levels right from the start. Additionally everyone is free to either roam around the world, accompany other players into their missions or else they can simply start their own mission through matchmaking.
The parkour system is said to have been greatly improved.
“Now depending on the button combination you will either traverse normally, only ascend, or only descend,” said the tester who goes by the Reddit name of AlphaNumeralBeta.
He also shared some information on the side missions in the game.
So far the ones we have access to are pretty limited. But one sticks out. You are teleported to a sealed off area that is on the cusp of deteriorating(based on the level you chose). Your goal to is collect data on the map to find the location of a trapped assassin on the map.
Data comes in three varieties. Static worth 10 points. Dynamic(read moving around the map) for 20 points, and encrypted(you have to stand year for a few seconds for it to be picked up) for 50 points.
After collecting 300 the Assassin’s location is revealed. You are then provided a secondary goal of collecting 1000 which then rewards you bonus money etc.
The caveat: you are bound by a time limit. Once the time limit runs out the barriers of the level start shrinking. If the barrier hits you you are erased and you die. You have to reach the exit before being erased.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is scheduled to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
