Bungie’s Destiny Has Gone Gold, All Set for September 9 Release

Bungie has announced that Destiny has gone gold which means that it's all set to release on its announced date, September 9.

Destiny fans rejoice! The game has officially gone gold.

Bungie revealed that their heavily anticipated Online multiplayer has gone gold and they have “Entered the Home Stretch”.

Have we said that before? Feels like it. The development of Destiny has been a race with many milestones.” “Now, we’re very close to launch – the final weeks. This next milestone carries a heavier weight of finality. Destiny is Gold. Discs are being pressed and packed into crates. Destiny is done, in some respects. Even now, so close to the end, it still feels like we’re just getting started.”

Bungie plans to fully support the game after launch adding multiple features from time to time along with the usual downloadable content. Destiny is a big-budget AAA title and a lot is riding on its success.

If you are a PlayStation gamer then you are in for a treat.

Players on Sony’s side will be getting exclusive in-game content on PS4 which includes a multiplayer map, a Strike mission, three sets of armor, two weapons, and three spacecraft and that’s not all, with the launch of Destiny you can get your hands on the beautiful Glacier white PS4 bundled with a copy of the game.

In addition, Bungie also confirmed that they will be making an appearance at PAX 2014 which is just days away. So expect to hear more about the game in the coming days as we will be covering each and every news as it comes out of PAX, so stay tuned to Segmentnext.

Destiny will be launched next month on September 9 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
