Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Gold Guns are Returning & Exo-Abilities Won’t Recharge
With Sledgehammer Games’ heavy focus on customization in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, it’d have been a huge let down if the game decides to pull the plug on weapon camos. Luckily, this isn’t going to be the case.
Earlier this month, Sledgehammer Games officially revealed multiplayer component of the game which also hinted at the possible addition of the weapon camos.
In an interview with Gamasutra, Sledgehammer Games revealed that Gold Guns will be making a comeback in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare – which look like pretty neat unlike the Gold Camo in Modern Warfare 3.
Currently, we have no details as to how players will be able to get these guns; by scoring a specific number of headshots like in Black Ops II or scoring a specific number of kills like in Modern Warfare 3.
Another important bit of news comes from Michael Condrey’s Twitter feed, and states that exo-abilities run on batteries which do not recharge unlike players’ health. Once a player has drained his/her exo-battery, he/she must die in order to use it again.
However, this only applies to exo-abilities like Cloak or Hovering and not on Boost Jump or Boost Dash. This is indeed a welcome news for those who were afraid that enemies will spam on abilities like Cloak all the time.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare launches on Nov. 4 this year for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3.
