Xbox One “Free Play Day” Promo Leaked, Announcement Coming Soon?

If the images posted on Reddit are to be believed, Microsoft will soon be introducing a new promotional feature which will offer access to select Xbox One games for one day free of charge.

Reportedly, the name of this promo is “Free Play Day With Gold” which suggests players will get 24 hour access and will require you to be a subscriber of the Gold Membership.

As you can see in the image above one of the first games included in the promo will be Max the Curse Of Brotherhood, Strike Zero and Crimson Dragon.

In addition, The Xbox support account on twitter appears to have confirmed this leak regarding the Free Play Day promo. When fan tweeted at Xbox support “Not sure if “Free Play Day” is a new thing or not. Was just checking” he received a reply stating “Gotcha. Looks like it is actually. We’ll be in touch here shortly. 🙂 ^AD”.

Any other details are yet to be revealed but it sure does sound like an exciting feature.

The Gold Subscribers also get 2 free games every month on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and one of the free games this month was Dishonored for Xbox 360.

Furthermore, This week’s Xbox Deals with Gold offers include discounts on Call of Duty content on Xbox One and Xbox 360. There is also a 33 per cent Trials Fusion discount on Xbox One, plus a huge Rockstar content sale on Xbox 360.
