Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Teams Up With Mountain Dew and Doritos

Activision is partnering up with Doritos and Mountain Dew to bring a special marketing promotion for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players.

Participating in the frenzy will give players the chance to unlock Double XP and exclusive supply drops for the game. According to the announcement, the campaign will expire on February 15, 2015.

“Get ready to stock up on specially marked Mountain Dew® and Doritos® packages to unlock exclusive (until 2/15/15) in-game gear, Double XP and Rapid Supply for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare,” reads the official blurb.

For more information you can head over to FuelUpForBattle. That said, the site currently has only a timer that is counting towards the release of the game. Perhaps the additional information will be posted either close to or after the release.

This isn’t the first time that the Call of Duty franchise has hooked up with Mountain Dew and Doritos. It was the same with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and that worked well for the publisher. It only makes sense to opt for it yet again, seeing that the latest installment has already garnered sufficient interest from the community.

The latest Call of Duty installment is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and will release on November 4 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Earlier today the publisher confirmed that a Wii U port is out of the question.
