NVIDIA Geforce Bundle is Bringing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for Free

By   /   Aug 20, 2014

Nvidia’s previous Watch Dogs bundle ran its course and the company has announced a new bundle to help sell their hardware.

Now, NVIDIA, Gearbox and 2K Australia have bundled the forthcoming FPS Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with select video cards.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is to be released for PC on October 14, 2014. The game is the third installment in the Borderlands series and it takes place between the first and second games.

Nvidia wants to offer the game to you for free, but there’s a catch: you must purchase Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN Black, 780 Ti, 780, or 770 desktop GPUs. Strangely, there is no mention of the game being bundled with GTX 760.

“If you have a high-end NVIDIA GPU, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will offer higher fidelity and higher performance hardware-driven special effects including awesome weapon impacts, moon- shatteringly cool cryo explosions and ice particles, and cloth and fluid simulation that blows me away every time I see it!” said Randy Pitchford, CEO and President, Gearbox.

Furthermore, as usual the bundled game is being distributed in voucher form at different retailers. So buyers should double check if their purchase includes a voucher.  According to NVIDIA’s terms and conditions, these codes from the bundle will be good through October 31st.
