John Cena: WWE 2K15 Career Mode Will Keep You Hooked For a Long Time
WWE 2K15 is among few titles by 2K Sports to land on next-gen of consoles this year. While the game is still three months away, it is turning out to be one of the best looking games of this year.
In an exclusive interview, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena spoke about his experience of working on the game and how impressive did he find the game to be. Cena stated that the featured WWE stars saw much more of the gameplay than anyone else and it is ridiculously good:
Here’s the thing, the game comes out in October. We’ve been able to see a lot more than anyone else [and] the gameplay looks unreal. It looks ridiculously [good], it’s something if someone else was playing it, I would [stop and] watch, that’s how good it is.
Speaking of the game’s single-player career mode, Cena stated that it offers tons of accomplishments and rewards to keep the players hooked for a long time. Another thing to be excited about it is the fact that it starts in the Performance Center and then players make their way to the Hall of Fame:
I love the fact that career mode starts in the performance center and ends in the Hall of Fame. [Career Mode] has enough accomplishments to keep you playing and playing, so even if you just play solo, you’ll enjoy the game for a long period of time.
Developed by Visual Concepts and Yuke’s, I hope the developers learn from the mistakes made in WWE 2K14 and feature better and competent AI along with decent commentators, but we’ll see once the game launches on Oct. 28, 2014 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
