Batman Arkham Knight – The Design of the Man Behind the Mask

By   /   Aug 18, 2014

Batman: Arkham Knight is going to feature a new enemy called Arkham Knight who will push Batman to his limits and today we share every aspect of his design as shared by the developers.

Starting from his mask, which gives him eyes in all the parts of Gotham and it also helps him cover up the face to conceal his identity.

The mask also allows him to keep track of his army which is scattered throughout the city of Gotham and is causing havoc at every place.

Secondly, his body armor is shaped to help him against the Batman as it will deflect the Batclaw and will also allow him to hide on buildings using the reflective nature of the armor.

Now we come to the Gauntlet’s design which is directly influenced by fighter aircraft and it is extremely resistant, and will deflect any small blade that hits it.

That brings us to the red and grey camouflage of Arkham Knight, which will help his army identify him from a longer distance and will also allow him to blend in the dark alleyways of the city.

Finally, his utility belt has been designed to match Batman’s as he tries to prove that he is better, badder and cooler than the Dark Knight.

Arkham Knight being the main villain of the game is becoming extremely intriguing character and Rocksteady assures that there is a man behind that mask who is trying to take Batman down at every cost.

Batman Arkham Knight after suffering a delay will now launch in the first quarter of 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
