Destiny Trailer Reveals the Planet Mars

By   /   Aug 17, 2014

Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny which shows off the planet Mars.

The red planet wasn’t always a barren waste land and once was inhabited by humanity, who had built a massive metropolis on the planet. However, with time that was all reduced to rubble and ruins, making the civilization’s existence a mere myth.

The trailer peeks the interests of players by teasing secrets from a lost age buried beneath the sands. In Destiny players will be venturing there to discover the truth but such secrets are rarely kept unguarded.

At Gamescom 2014 earlier this week, the developer also announced the very first expansion called The Dark Below. It will launch on both the PS4 and Xbox One in December.

That said Destiny will feature some new timed exclusive deals for PlayStation owners. Jonty Barnes, Director of Production at Bungie, announced that The Dark Below would release first on the PS3 and PS4.

Additionally, players will also get early access to a Strike mission, Dust Palace, and the competitive multiplayer map Exodus Blue.

Bungie also mentioned that they are working on another DLC which will be released within the first year of the game’s release and after The Dark Below.

Destiny is scheduled for release on September 9 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
