PlayStation 4 Theme Support News Was A Mistake, PS Blogcast Crew Apologizes

By   /   Aug 16, 2014

Yesterday, during PlayStation Blogcast it was revealed that the upcoming firmware 2.0 update for PlayStation 4 will bring themes to the console, but this statement was a mistake as clarified by Blogcast crew earlier today.

Hi guys – Sid from the Blogcast here, just wanted to confirm that this was in error and the show has been corrected. Sorry for the mixup! We’ll keep you posted on any news related to PS4 themes in the future.

However, other additions that were revealed during the Blogcast are still on the way, and the biggest of them is the Shareplay, which will allow you to play co-op games with your friends that don’t even own the game.

Another major feature headed to PlayStation 4 with the upcoming update is the ability to share your homemade gameplay videos directly to YouTube without much of a bother.

In addition to the aforementioned stuff, I am sure there will be a lot more features added to the console, which according to the recent reports has sold more than 10 million units in a period of just nine months.

PlayStation 4 owners are eagerly waiting for these new features, as Sony promises to release the firmware update 2.0 this autumn.

What features are you looking forward to in the upcoming update for PS4?
