The Evil Within Season Pass Lets You Play as The Keeper

Bethesda Softworks has today announced a DLC Season Pass for its upcoming survival horror game The Evil Within.

The pass will cost $20 and provide access to three expansion packs. According to the announcement, the first expansion pack will give players the opportunity to play as The Keeper, the game’s scary opponent who is also known as the Boxman for wearing a barbed wire box on his head. As The Keeper players will complete a set of mission-based maps which will include “sadistic” objectives.

The second and third pieces of DLC will feature a two-part narrative-driven mission centered on Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellanos’ partner from the main game. As Juli, players will come up against new enemies and areas and further unravel the game’s mysteries.

“Encounter unthinkable enemies and new areas that reveal hidden motives and harrowing evil,” said Bethesda.

Bethesda did not mention as to how much each expansion will cost individually, but as always purchasing a Season Pass will be the cheapest option if you’re interesting in playing all three expansion packs.

The publisher also stated that the Season Pass will be available at participating retailers, suggesting that perhaps it will not be available in some regions.

The Evil Within is scheduled for release on October 14 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
