GTA V Next-Gen and PC Version Will Blow People Away, Says Strauss Zelnick

Rockstar finally revealed the highly anticipated Xbox One, PS4 and PC version of GTA V at this year’s E3 and now in a new interview with MCV, Take-Two’s Strauss Zelnick stated that the developers want to blow the consumers away with the new version of the game.

They (Rockstar Games) want to blow consumers away. Whatever the expectation is, they want to exceed it. When you see GTA 5 on next-gen, I want you to tell me whether it is or isn’t better than your expectation. I can guarantee it will be better.

In addition to talking about the next-gen version of the game, Zelnick said that he wants GTA V to be played by rest of the world.

One way to look at it is that 34m copies have been sold, but there’s 7bn people on Earth. So we have over 6.9bn people left to address. It’s a massive market and an amazing title. GTA is the standard bearer in the industry. How can you buy a next-gen console and not want to play GTA on it?

GTA V was one of the biggest releases of last year and almost after a year of its release, it is still going from strength to strength on both the consoles and we will see how it does on Xbox One, PS4 and PC when it launches this fall.
