BioWare’s Shadow Realms Gets Four Minutes of Online Co-Op Gameplay

BioWare’s never-ending teasers for its mysterious project simmered down at Gamescom, Germany where the developer announced Shadow Realms; a new action role-playing game that is played in a 4 vs. 1 fashion.

Aside from the announcement trailer, the developer also announced a closed alpha test which is scheduled to kick off from next month. IGN, however, managed to get their hands on the game and released this brief video for your viewing pleasures.

From the looks of it, the game is indeed looking like a fast-paced RPG with a lot of things to process at the same time.

You will get a closer look at the game’s characters, environments, traps, monsters, and character abilities. Also, note that the demo played is most probably in its alpha stage and is being recorded off a camcorder.

In case you missed it, Shadow Realms works somewhat like 2K Games’ Evolve where four players join up together to take on a monster controlled by another player.

The players controlling the monster can utilize all sorts of traps and minion at his disposal to hinder the progress of the four players.

Currently, the game is only announced for PC with a 2015 release date to go by, but we will update as more information on console release becomes available.
