Assassin’s Creed Rogue Naval Battle Gameplay Revealed, Explore The Arctic Waters

By   /   Aug 13, 2014

Ubisoft UK released gameplay walkthrough for their upcoming title Assassin’s Creed Rogue for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Gameplay takes place in the Arctic and does well to set itself apart from the predecessor which featured Naval battles.

Unlike Black Flag, Naval battles in Rogue will take player to the harsh and cold environment of the Arctic which visually looks impressive when you consider it’s a PS3 and Xbox 360 title.

The Walkthrough also tells us a little bit about the Templar’s cause, which is to Help the British agenda against the French.

In Addition, some light was shed on details about Shay’s ship “Morrigan”. The Morrígan has a shallower draft compared to Jackdaw from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which allows for faster river travel.

Fresh features include new ship-based weapons such as releasing an oil slick which can be ignited, machine gun-like cannons along with the ability for enemies to board the Morrígan during ship-to-ship combat were also revealed .

Furthermore, the game introduces an air rifle that allows players to quietly take out enemies at a distance. The air rifle can be outfitted with a variety of different projectiles, such as firecrackers. The players can also use a grenade launcher, which fires off shrapnel grenades and other loads.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is looking more and more interesting everyday and to play as a Templar is exciting on its own.

Rogue will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 on Nov 11, 2014.
