Uncharted 4 Will Feature A Much More Personal Story Similar To The Last Of Us

Perhaps the most awaited title of 2015 for PlayStation 4 users would be Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Revealed at E3 2014, the game’s trailer hinted at a much a darker story than the previous titles as well as the possibility of being the final installment of the franchise.

In a recent interview with MCV, Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckman explained how the creation of The Last of Us helped the studio in learning new ways of storytelling, something which the studio hopes to deploy in Uncharted 4 as well.

However, Uncharted fans need not worry as Druckman assures that the game will not be like The Last of Us but would in fact be a perfect balance of storytelling along with the core gameplay which Uncharted fans love.

According to Druckman, the story this time around would be more personal, focusing on who Nathan Drake really is, something which Uncharted 3 attempted as well by dipping into a bit of Drake’s backstory.

While fans love the badass and carefree attitude of Nathan Drake, a lot of his past is still a mystery and it would be really exciting to see all that unfolding in front of our eyes and how Drake’s actions affect all the other people in his life.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set to be released exclusively for PS4 in 2015.
