Microsoft Announces Halo Channel for Xbox One

Announced at Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference, the company is launching a Halo Channel for all Halo related content on Xbox One and Windows 8.1.

Described as ‘interactive digital network that provides unprecedented personalized access to the Halo Universe’, the channel will serve as your portal for all Halo related notifications including Halo: Nightfall releases, exclusive interviews, and Halo universe.

Microsoft has also released a small teaser (which can be seen above), outlining everything that you can expect from the portal. The official description of the video reads:

The Halo Channel enables you to seamlessly transition between Halo games and other Halo experiences. Featuring full Twitch integration, broadcast your gameplay or watch feeds from the Halo community – from competitive multiplayer matches and campaign walkthroughs to speed runs. This is your home for Halo.

As you can see, Halo Channel will also allow you to keep up with Halo competitive matches and will offer rewards for Halo: The Master Chief Collection for watching exclusive content.

The Halo Channel will be available on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 on Nov. 11, 2014. Microsoft is also planning on releasing Windows Phone 8.1 version which will be available in coming months.
