Infamous First Light Gamescom Trailer Highlights Fetch’s Powers

By   /   Aug 12, 2014

PlayStation 4’s flagship next generation title, Infamous Second Son is getting a Standalone DLC which was revealed during E3 2014. Developers Sucker Punch Productions released a new trailer during GamesCom 2014 for the DLC, titled Infamous First Light.

The DLC puts players in the shoes of a female protagonist, Abigail ‘Fetch’ Walker whom the players character Delsin Rowe encounters in the base game, while she hunts down and kills drug dealers.

According to Jason Connell, one of the creative leads at Sucker Punch “Playing as Fetch, you’ll experience the events that transform her into the conduit you met in Second Son.” And the story will focus on heartache, drug abuse and abandonment issues which plague Faith.

First Light will feature new environments, including Curdun Cay and its snowy, mountainous surrounding area.

Sucker Punch says it has tweaked its lighting engine, particle effects, and its facial motion capture techniques to give characters richer personalities.

The Photo mode will also be included in First Light.

Infamous First Light will be available online from August 26 in North America, and on August 27 in Europe, priced at $14.99/€14.99. PlayStation Europe is to release a Blu-ray version on September 10.
