Assassin’s Creed Unity Paris Horizon Trailer Shows Locations, Crowds And More

Ubisoft seems to be going all out with the promotion for the upcoming title of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. With almost 4 months till the release of the game, new trailers for Assassin’s Creed Unity keep rolling in with the latest of them being revealed at GamesCom 2014.

The Paris Horizon trailer is however quite different from what the fans are accustomed to seeing. The trailer features little to no action and is more like a montage, showing various locations and stuff players can expect from the game.

The video shows the protagonist, Arno running around the game world, executing the newly introduced parkour style free running, amazingly detailed building interiors as well as massive crowds being rendered in real time.

We also get a look at the streets of Paris during the French Revolution, anarchy and chaos everywhere. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the trailer would be the Assassin council.

One thing which the fans of the franchise have complained about is that with each new iteration, the game feels less like an Assassin’s Creed title and more like a generic action game.

That all seems to be changing now that we have been given a hint of a proper Assassin Order like in the early titles of the franchise.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is set to be released on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
