Housemarque Games Teases an “out of this world” Announcement
Indie developer Housemarque Games has released a teaser video for tomorrow’s GamesCom 2014. The company, founded in 1995 is famous for its Super Stardust games as well as the PS3 title Dead Nation.
Recently, the company worked on Resogun for PS4 as well as Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition for PS4 which was even free for PS Plus subscribers in March 2014.
The teaser presented as a news broadcast, with Housemarque’s Mikael Haveri being the news reporter mentions the developer will be at GamesCom with the announcement of a possible new title (or it could be a remastered version of one of their old ones).
The announcement would be “something out of this world” and to further emphasize on that, the teaser shows some hovering lights on top of a building. The lights hover for a while and then suddenly disappear, as if they teleported.
Judging by this it seems they might be working on some space related game involving alien invasions or something. Fingers crossed for an end of the world platformer.
Housemarque had confirmed earlier that it was working on a new PS4 title and it wasn’t a sequel to Resogun which was released in 2013.
So what did you think of the teaser? What could the big announcement be?
