NBA 2K15: First Gameplay Footage Features Kevin Durant In Action

By   /   Aug 8, 2014

A new NBA 2K15 video released by 2K Sports yesterday shows the game’s cover athlete and reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant in action.

In the footage, Durant is showcased dunking on top of Golden State Warriors player Andre Iguodala. The footage is taken from the PlayStation 4 version and gives us the first look into the latest installment in the long-running NBA franchise.

There’s much to notice here for NBA 2K15.

The details on the characters are pretty impressive, as are the animations which are incredibly smooth. According to 2K Sports employee Ronnie 2K15, you should be watching out for these new improvements: “Armpit hair, fatheads, furry animals, KD 7’s, sick animation & more in 1st #NBA2K15 vid.”

It goes without saying that NBA 2K15 really does trump in the visual department over its predecessors.

Last month, it has been announced that Pharrell Williams is going to curate the soundtracks of the game. In a statement, Pharrell said that it was important to him ‘that the music complemented the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15.

NBA 2K15 is scheduled for release on October 7 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
