While it is just PR talk at the moment, the game does look good and has increased the expectations of the fans. Still, will it be able to live up to the hype? I guess we will have to wait until we get to see the demo at Gamescom.
Quantum Break is a third person action game, featuring live action video combined with regular gameplay.
As stated by Xbox.com The game is:
A revolutionary entertainment experience that blurs the line between television and gaming. With Quantum Break, Remedy Games delivers an action-packed, fast paced game in which you bend and shape time in order to survive. Master unique powers, bending and warping time to outmaneuver and outwit the enemy. Epic moments of destruction, captured in time, become your playground.
With franchises like Alan Wake and Max Payne under its belt, I for one is pretty confident that Remedy will come out just fine with Quantum Break but considering it as a novel idea, I have my concerns. I am hoping that those concerns will settle down as we get closer to the release of the game.
Quantum Break is set for a 2015 launch.
