New Diablo 3 Console Update Adds Save Transfer and Improves Anti-Hacking System

By   /   Aug 6, 2014

The update which is now live, allows players to transfer their saved data from PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/Xbox One.

It does not matter which console you owned previously, the patch enables cross brand data transfer which means if you are a PS3 player, you will be able to transfer data to an Xbox One and same goes for Xbox 360 and PS4. Thats a pretty amazing function.

Still you won’t be able to transfer saves, between PS4 and Xbox One.

How to do this you ask? we’ll guide you through the process, it’s simple. You will just have to link your PSN ID or Xbox live Gamertag to you’re battel.net account and the in-game wizard will do the rest and help you with the remaining steps.

In addition, the patch introduces an anti-hacking system which is similar to Borderlands 2 , so hackers, you have been warned.

Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil edition for PS4 and Xbox One is coming in a few weeks time on Aug 19. And will feature the main game along with the Reaper of souls Expansion pack.
The Game will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One (we don’t have any official word on that yet so yes, it’s 900p for the time being).
