New WWE 2K15 Screenshot Shows John Cena, MyCareer Mode Confirmed

By   /   Aug 4, 2014

Here’s your first look at the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in the upcoming new WWE 2K15 installment from 2K Sports.

The visuals do look far better than the previous title. Though it has to be pointed out that the facial expressions still need a lot of work. In the image posted by Cena’s official Twitter account, he’s shown in a stare-down contest against Randy Orton.

Orton isn’t really shown in the image, except for his left arm and a bit of his back. Now all we need is a gameplay trailer to ascertain that 2K Sports has done its homework in providing us the ultimate WWE title.

Earlier today we also got to know about the story modes included in the game. First is a Showcase mode where players will relive the popular rivalries from WWE history. The mode is similar to the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode from WWE 2K14.

The second mode is a MyCareer mode that is pretty much self explanatory and will be available only on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15. Leveling up your created player helps you unlock new skills.

The developer has also added a few RPG elements where decisions you make will have an impact on how your career progresses.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will also receive an exclusive Hulkamania Edition priced at $99. It will net you an actual signed card from Hulk Hogan, as well as a piece of the ring canvas from the March 10, 2014 Raw show. That’s an amazing addition to any Wrestling fan’s collection.

Here is a complete list of its contents:

  • A copy of WWE 2K15
  • Premium packaging
  • Collectible art card hand-signed by Hulk Hogan
  • Exclusive Funko “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan vinyl figure
  • An actual piece of the ring canvas from Hogan’s Monday Night Raw appearance on March 10th, 2014
  • Two playable pre-order launch exclusive Hulk Hogan characters
  • Two playable pre-order launch exclusive Sting characters

WWE 2K15 is scheduled for release on October 28 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
