Hyrule Warriors Will Not Feature Online Co-Op Campaign
Hyrule Warriors or better known as Zelda Musō in Japan will not feature an online co-op mode, the game’s creators have announced via its official Twitter feed.
The announcement reads that players will not be able to team up with random online players to play the game. Instead, the developers have decided to stick with Local Play only with one player controlling a character using Wii U GamePad and another player using a Wii Remote or Wii U Pro controller.

It is also noteworthy that the game will indeed feature an online functionality, but playing the co-op campaign is restricted to Local Play only.
Yesterday, Nintendo made the announcement that the studio will showcase Hyrule Warriors at Nintendo Direct livestream on Monday. Make sure to check back as we will update with more promised details.
