Latest Call of Duty: Ghosts PC Patch Adds New Hit-Markers, Reset Stats Options and More

By   /   Aug 2, 2014

PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts has received a new 400MB patch, earlier today.

One of the most commonly reported issue addressed with this patch is the ability to reset your stats. The said functionality is available in previous instalments of the game, but was missing from COD: Ghosts since the very beginning. After downloading the patch, PC players can enter the Barracks menu and click on ‘Reset Stats’ to revert back to Level 1 and relock all weapons, perks, attachments, and equipment. As for the consoles players, they will most probably get it in the next update.

Another feature added to the game is the inclusion of Orange hit-markers. These hit-markers will tell you which of your shot delivered the killing blow. Furthermore, players will now know whenever they are being shown on enemy’s Oracle.

These are all the prominent changes that we have encountered and will update it as soon as Infinity Ward will release patch notes. In the meanwhile, do share any other changes that you experienced!

Recently, Infinity Ward also announced fourth and final DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Dubbed as Nemesis, the DLC pack will be available across Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Aug. 5, 2014 and on a later date across Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PC. Seems fitting that the patch is preparing the game for the upcoming DLC.
