It would be hard to imagine that some of you might not have heard of The Swapper, it is a very well regarded 2D platformer that puts you in the shoes of an astronaut stranded at a distant space station.
You might have guessed it from the title of the game that it allows you to swap between more than one characters; but what makes it more interesting is that you will actually be swapping between clones of your own character. These clones are created by a device that you use in the game.
Although the title has originally been developed by Facepalm Games for Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux; it is the British game development studio that is in charge of the Nintendo version. They were also in charge of the game’s porting to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Curve Studios has previously been part acknowledged for the development of Stealth Bastard and Fluidity as well as the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita ports of Lone Survivor, Proteus and Thomas Was Alone.
This will be the first time that they are porting a game to the Wii U or any Nintendo platform for that matter.
So The Swapper is coming to Wii U later this year, who is ready to play with some clones?
