New Hyrule Warriors Information Based on Translated Famitsu Scans
We are closing in on the release date of Hyrule Warriors, the hack and slash action game by Tecmo Koei and with the regular influx of bits of information in the recent days, the anticipation has been boiling hot. However, this time the developers have decided to do away with the smaller chunks of details and dropped a big one through Famitsu.
Some days ago Hyrule Warriors was featured in the Japanese Magazine which has now been translated to detail the boomerang, the Skulltula collecting system, some new content relating to Ocarina of Time and a lot more.
The locations discussed on the feature are Lake Hylia, Death Mountain and Faran Woods – bite on that. While more details like the ability to pick weapon bags from dead enemies, obtained weapons being random and certain ‘sealed weapons’ were also discussed.
The same Famtisu edition that has been translated now, was leaked earlier but with no translations for the western world. Back then we were only able to confirm the presence of some new characters like Sheik, Darunia and Princess Ruto – all belonging to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
It’s awesome how knowing some foreign languages can be of great benefit sometimes!
Hyrule Warriors is being developed by Omega Force, Team Ninja and Nintendo Software Planning and Development Division as a Wii U exclusive. The is going to be released in Japan on August 14, 2014; in European Union on September 19, 2014; in Australia on September 20, 2014 and finally in the United States and other North American countries on September 26, 2014.
