Destiny Beta Now Open On All Consoles, All Info And Downloads Here!

By   /   Jul 25, 2014

Stop what you’re doing and go download the Destiny Beta right now. Starting right now, all that nonsense with codes has stopped and Beta access is granted to most people on all consoles.

We say “most,” because some restrictions apply. For instance, the Playstation 4 edition requires a Playstation Plus subscription.

Luckily for you outdated gamers, the Playstation 3 version is absolutely hassle-free and can be downloaded by anyone that has 5.5Gb download space. This does not include the 12Gb console version.

Both Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the Destiny Beta require an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Additionally, you’ll need a hard drive for the 360.

You have time to play the Destiny Beta until 11:59pm PDT on July 27th, 2014. That’s the time Bungie will wrap this baby up.

Moreover, Iron Banner events are planned for this final hustle as well. We’ll list the times these take place below:

Friday, July 25th

  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PDT)
  • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (PDT)
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (PDT)

Saturday, July 26th

  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PDT)
  • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (PDT)
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (PDT)

Aside from the First Light and Shores of Time locations, the final Iron Banner games will also include the Rusted Lands and Blind Watch maps.

You will need to have met Lord Saladin in the Destiny Beta before getting access to the Iron Banner Events. Challenges are handed out by the Bounty Tracker.
