Bayonetta 2 Online Co-op Detailed, New Screenshots Revealed

Platinum Games’ next installment in the critically acclaimed Bayonetta series just received new information. The Bayonetta 2 Online Co-op mode, which is called Tag Climax was detailed by the developers.

The game mode in question was announced back at the E3 2014 Conference and then received a gameplay footage that showed what it was all about. Now, it’s time to talk about details.

First off, we know that you tag team with friends in the Bayonetta 2 Online Co-op mode but that is not all. You can also be teamed up with random players and even a CPU partner. After getting a partner to play with, you get a variety of fights ranging from bosses to enemy hordes to choose from.

We know that you will be allowed to beta Halos for higher scores in a specific match now it has been shared that the money won from betting can be used to unlock new techniques as well as weapon variants.

Different stages will be shown on Versus Cards and you will have access to all stages shown on your cards. Last but not the least, you will also be allowed to set the difficulty.

Whether the Bayonetta 2 Online Co-op mode Tag Climax sits well among the Nintendo users or not, the game is going to be released as a Wii U exclusive in Japan on September 20, 2014 which will be followed by the release in North America and European Union sometime in October 2014 – exact release date has not been shared yet.
