Sony has announced that the upcoming Uncharted Movie is going hit the Cinemas on June 10, 2016. It’s the date which was originally planned for Sony’s Amazing Spider-Man 3, which now has been delayed to 2018.

The Uncharted movie will be directed by Seth Gordon, who is famous for his work on Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief.

For writing purposes, Sony has decided to take services of David Guggenheim, who made a name for himself by writing the scripts of movies like Safe House, Stolen and more.

It will be interesting to see who will take the lead role of Nathan Drake in the upcoming film, and with shooting scheduled to begin in early 2015, you can expect the lead star to be revealed pretty soon.

Since making its debut in 2007, Uncharted series has become one of the major reasons behind PlayStation 3’s success and is still considered to be one of the best franchises to be made on last-gen console.

So far, Naughty Dog has released three iterations of Uncharted series with fourth one called “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” set to release in the fall of 2015, exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Who would you like to see in the role of Nathan Drake in upcoming Uncharted Movie?
